As many of you know, about 4 months ago we acquired 4 horses that had been abandoned by their owner. They were very malnourished , and in poor heath due to deplorable living conditions. Since we took over their care, they have become healthier and a lot happier. They still need some further treatment, but the love they have received from ourselves and our close family members emanates from them.
Update 2/20/2016
Even though we provided all the medical treatment we could, one of our horse's "Shane" surcame to a hoof
infection he had suffered before we took over his care. He was not in pain, and just appeared to have laid
down and gone to sleep. Shane was a lover, a "Gentle Giant" and will surely be missed.
